The HEINEKEN Company
Operational Excellence across Asia-Pacific
Liliya Panina leads Operational Excellence across Asia-Pacific at The HEINEKEN Company, responsible for the transformation of 40+ brewing operations spanning some of the most diverse and fast-moving markets in the world. Covering China, India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Myanmar, Cambodia, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand, and beyond, her work sits at the intersection of scale, complexity and real-world impact.
With a career built at the intersection of operational excellence and digital transformation, Liliya brings a track record of large-scale deployment. Prior to her regional APAC role, she led the global rollout of a digital application across all 160 HEINEKEN operations worldwide — an experience that sharpened her ability to drive adoption at scale, align diverse stakeholder landscapes and connect local execution to global standards. She now applies that same end-to-end transformation mindset to Asia-Pacific, embedding Total Productive Management not as a methodology to be implemented, but as a way of working that sticks — across cultures, maturity levels, and market contexts.
At HEINEKEN, Liliya plays a central role in connecting regional operations to the company’s global operational excellence agenda, aligning TPM pillars with broader business priorities. Her approach combines structured methodology with strong people focus — recognizing that lasting operational transformation depends as much on mindset and capability building as it does on process design and technical execution.
Her areas of expertise include Total Productive Management (TPM), scaling operational excellence across multi-site and multicultural environments, large-scale capability building, organizational development, change management and digital transformation. Liliya is a practitioner who connects strategy to the shopfloor enabling employees to deliver results.
