Daniela General is a specialist in operational excellence, organizational transformation, and change management. She currently leads the Operational Excellence function within Saint-Gobain’s Data & Analytics division, where she is responsible for developing operating models, enhancing the effectiveness of international teams, and implementing approaches that enable organizations to operate with greater speed, transparency, and efficiency.

Her professional journey has evolved from administrative and operational roles to leading large-scale transformation initiatives in international business environments. Daniela began her career in administrative support and financial control functions, working on reporting, performance analysis, and business process improvement. Later, at Hiscox, she focused on team leadership, talent development, and performance enhancement, with a strong emphasis on fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

She subsequently joined Credit Agricole Consumer Finance and Xpand IT, where she contributed to transformation programs, corporate governance initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration between business, IT, and control functions. During this period, she was actively involved in KPI implementation, process optimization, and improving transparency in decision-making.

Since joining Saint-Gobain in 2022, Daniela has played a key role in advancing the company’s operating model and scaling processes across an international environment. Over the years, she has led teams responsible for data services, operations, and operational excellence, driving initiatives aimed at removing organizational barriers, accelerating execution, and strengthening accountability across teams. Her work has contributed to shorter delivery timelines, improved cross-functional collaboration, and the development of more sustainable change management practices.
