Chief Financial Officer
Rimma Patakhova is a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and an expert in strategic performance management, financial transformation, and banking business development, with more than 20 years of experience in Kazakhstan’s financial sector.
Throughout her career, she has held senior leadership positions at some of the country’s largest banks, contributing to key initiatives that have shaped the evolution of the banking industry during various stages of its transformation. She has extensive expertise in financial strategy, business performance management, organizational transformation, capital management, and the implementation of modern performance management systems.
Rimma began her professional career at BTA Bank, where she advanced from a department head role to Managing Director and Member of the Management Board. She later served as Managing Director and Deputy Chairperson of the Management Board at ATF Bank, overseeing financial management and strategic development initiatives.
Since 2016, she has held CFO and Management Board positions at Alfa-Bank Kazakhstan, where she played a key role in large-scale projects related to finance function transformation, operational efficiency improvement, M&A transactions, banking integrations, debt restructuring, and the recovery and development of financial institutions operating under external constraints.
Currently, Rimma serves as Chief Financial Officer of Bereke Bank. She is responsible for the bank’s financial strategy, capital management, business performance optimization, and the development of the finance function as a strategic business partner across the organization.
Her professional interests include shareholder value creation through effective business management, KPI and performance management frameworks, organizational productivity enhancement, decision-making optimization, and supporting banks in the transition from traditional lending-focused models to customer-centric business models driven by Customer Lifetime Value (CLTV).
