Rahul Malhotra

Rahul Malhotra is Group Shared Services and Business Transformation Leader at EPTA GROUP, with more than 20 years of experience in shared services, operations management, and business process transformation. Over the course of his career, he has progressed from operational and analytical roles to leading large international service organizations. His areas of expertise include shared services development, process improvement, Order-to-Cash, working capital management, and organizational change.

Since November 2023, Rahul has been responsible for developing EPTA GROUP’s shared services model, leading regional and global SSC initiatives, and driving business transformation projects. His work focuses on improving processes and operating models, increasing efficiency, and developing service functions across international operations.

Before joining EPTA GROUP, Rahul spent more than 12 years with Avis Budget Group. During this time, he progressed from EMEA Receivables Manager to Senior Director of SSC Operations and Global Process Owner for Quote-to-Cash. He led financial and non-financial processes supporting B2B and B2C sales, as well as customer and financial services across multiple brands and markets. His responsibilities included initiatives focused on revenue growth, reducing revenue leakage and operating costs, KPI and SLA management, budgeting, supplier management, and team development. He was also involved in ERP implementation and enhancement, automation and robotics, insourcing, and outsourcing projects.

Earlier in his career, Rahul worked at Genpact, where his responsibilities covered operations management, consulting, and process transitions within Order-to-Cash. He contributed to solution development for prospective and existing clients, process diagnostics and benchmarking, migration planning, and reengineering projects using Six Sigma methodology. His previous experience also includes roles at Fidelity Information Services and Airtel, where he worked in operations management, accounts receivable, business analytics, and workforce planning.

Throughout his career, Rahul has worked with international companies and teams across Europe, North America, and the Asia-Pacific region. His industry exposure spans automotive, tourism, logistics, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, and banking. Alongside his corporate work, he speaks at shared services forums and business conferences and shares his professional experience with students as a guest lecturer in Budapest.
